Your £20 fee is for a proactive security inspection (VPI) to prevent these costly issues. This service is a scheduled check performed immediately after the guest checks out. The VPI confirms all utilities are off, and the property is secured.
What if a Lock-Out is Discovered?
If our VPI check finds the keys are missing or the key safe code has been changed while we are already onsite, we can resolve the access issue immediately, but it is NOT included in the £20 fee.
As certified locksmiths (Thanet only), we can gain urgent access to the property. Because we are already onsite for the security check, you benefit from a significantly discounted entry fee:

How to Book Your VPI Security Check
Book: Simply notify us immediately after your guest’s official check-out time.
Access: Provide us with the necessary, temporary access information (e.g., your master key box code).
Confirm: Within an hour of the scheduled time, you will receive a digital confirmation report that our 6-point VPI Security Check is complete, and your property is secured and ready for cleaning.
